Pedophile sentenced to 7 years

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On April 29, 2019 in the 435th District Court of Montgomery County, Johnny Santamaria plead guilty to Sexual Assault of a Child. Pct. 3 Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit co-located at Children’s Safe Harbor in Conroe, TX conducted an extensive investigation after being alerted about Santamaria. On April 14, 2017 Johnny Santamaria was taken into custody after admitting that he sexually assaulted a juvenile female under the age of 17 multiple times in The Woodlands, TX. Santamaria further admitted that he solicited the juvenile female online which lead to the sexual assaults. While out on bond, Santamaria was arrested again by the Pearland Police Department for Online Solicitation of a juvenile. Pct. 3 Detectives were able to develop a strong case and provide the evidence needed for the Montgomery County D.A.’s office to obtain an admission of guilt from Santamaria and a 7 year TDC sentence.
