Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Identifies Suspect Involved in Vulgar Act at Local Wal-Mart

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Thanks to the help of our community, Detectives have been able to identify all three suspects involved with the vulgar incident that occurred at the Porter Wal-Mart on July 27, 2019. The suspect who actually committed the act has been identified as a 15 year old male, and charges for Tampering with a Consumer Product (a second degree felony) have been presented to the County Attorney’s Office. On account of his age, the suspect’s name cannot be released at this time. Although the other two suspects were present, no charges are being sought at this time.

As stated previously, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate this type of behavior. Perpetrators of these type of acts will be caught, and all applicable charges will be filed against them. The success of this investigation, and the timely identification of those involved is another example of the great things that can be accomplished when we work together to keep our community safe.

MCTXSheriff Investigating Vulgar Act at Local Wal-Mart

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident that occurred at the Wal-Mart located at 23561 US-59 in Porter, Texas. A video surfaced on social media depicting a group of teenagers engaged in a vulgar act inside the store. After the video began circulating on social media, citizens contacted Wal-Mart about the incident. Upon reviewing their security video, it was confirmed that one of the suspects urinated on a shelf.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the incident occurred on July 27, 2019, and that the suspects also attempted to steal a case of beer. They were stopped by Wal-Mart loss prevention as they attempted to leave the store, but were let go. It was unknown to Wal-Mart staff at that time that one of the suspects had urinated on a shelf near the beverage aisle.

This is an active investigation, and Detectives are still attempting to identify the individuals involved. Charges will be filed when the suspects are identified.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate these types of vulgar acts. Tampering with consumer products is not only morally reprehensible, but can be a felony offense by which offenders will be charged.
