Deceased Person found in Lake Conroe

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On August 11, 2019, at approximately 10:07am, Montgomery County Dispatch received a call from person stating that he had found a deceased person in Lake Conroe. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable's Office Lake Division, Conroe Fire Department, and Montgomery County EMS responded to an area of April Point on Lake Conroe. Lake Units arrived to find a deceased white female, later identified as Ramona K. Manchester, W/F, 60 years of age, in the water. The victim was last seen late last night (August 10th) by her parents who live in the immediate area, on Lake Conroe. Justice of the Peace 1 (JP1) Mack was called to the scene to conduct an inquest. The victim will be taken to the Montgomery County Forensic Center, where an autopsy will be conducted.
