FT. BEND COUNTY, TX - On August 21, 2019, the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office arrested a burglary suspect at the 12000 block of Ormandy Street in Houston, Texas.

Shanon Michael Boone, 35, was arrested and charged with three counts of Burglary of a Building. The suspect admitted guilt in the charges against him for burglarizing the maintenance garages of several apartment complexes.

On August 10, 2019, three separate apartment complexes reported several power tools stolen overnight. These apartment buildings are within a half mile of each other.

Detectives later discovered Boone was using a stolen identity to sell the stolen property in various pawn shops in Houston.

“This is great work by our detectives in the Burglary Unit,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls.

Houston Police Department’s Westside Tactical Unit assisted with the arrest. Boone is currently in the Fort Bend County Jail on three $10,000 bonds.
