Texas Renaissance Festival's New Market Campground Introduces One-Price-Per-Vehicle Camping Experience

HOUSTON, TX – The Texas Renaissance Festival, the nation’s largest and most acclaimed Renaissance-themed event, announced today that the Fields of New Market Campground are available to book for this year’s festival with a new one-price-per-vehicle fee of $25 online plus processing fees or $35 at the gate. All camping participants must have a valid ticket for admission to the festival. The festival opens for its 45th season on Oct. 5 and runs nine weekends, in addition to Thanksgiving Friday, through Dec. 1.

The Fields of New Market offer 200 acres of picturesque meadow landscape on the King and Queen’s land, including first-class accommodations for campers of all types, with options for tents, RVs, cabins and trailers. Amenities include:

- Space for RVs, tents and campers
- RV pads, cabin and glamping reservations
- 24-hour security
- Permanent and portable restrooms
- Showers
- Water and RV dump stations
- Two convenience stores
- Food trucks
- Shuttle services
- Family camping

Additionally, the campgrounds offer evening and nighttime festivities such as family activities on Saturday evenings, fire pit bonfires and After Dark for those 21 and over.

The celebrations for this year’s festival include nine themed weekends, including a special themed weekend on Nov. 2-3, Return to the Renaissance, that celebrates the festival’s 45th anniversary and takes a nostalgic look back at the festival’s beginnings.

More information on camping reservations can be found at TexRenFest.com/Camping. Tickets for this year's festival are available in advance at Costco and Groupon for a reduced price. Tickets are also available online at TexRenFest.com and at the gate for $34 per person for ages 13 and older and $17 per person for ages five to 12. Children under four are always free, while children under 12 are admitted free to the festival every Sunday.
