THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Rayford Road will be closed to through traffic in both directions from Fox Run Boulevard to the Grand Parkway (SH 99) starting at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.

Rayford should reopen sometime Saturday morning.
The closure is necessary in order to install drainage pipes across Rayford Road at Fox Ravine Drive.

On Saturday morning, crews will continue to install pipe across Fox Ravine on the south side of Rayford Road.
During the closure:

- Fox Run residents will not be able to access their homes at Fox Ravine off of Rayford Road. They will need to take Fox Run Boulevard to Fox Mountain.

- Fox Run residents will not be able to access their homes at Hidden Spring Falls from Rayford Road. They will need to take Fox Run Boulevard to Buckminster.

- Legends Run residents will not be able to access their homes at Legends Reach Drive off of Rayford Road. Residents will need to enter their community at Legends Run Drive off of Rayford Road or Birnham Woods Drive.

- All eastbound and westbound through traffic on Rayford Road will be diverted to Fox Run Boulevard. Eastbound traffic will need to use the Grand Parkway feeder road and turnaround as necessary. Westbound traffic will need to use the Grand Parkway frontage road to access Fox Run Boulevard west to Rayford Road.

The drainage pipe installation is part of the Rayford Road widening project from Richards Road the Grand Parkway.
