MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - 911 Call Centers in Montgomery county are being inundated with non-emergency calls in regards to flooding information.

The Montgomery County Hospital District and the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management would like to remind residents that the 911 system should only be used if you are in a life or death situation, and not for information about flooded roadways or other weather-related inquiries.

If you hava a true medical emergency, if water is coming into your home or if there is a fire, you should call 9-1-1. If you have general inquiries about flooding, road closures, or other non-emergency, weather-related events, please stay tuned to local media outlets for such information. You can also visit https://mctxoem.org/maps/ and click on MCTX Live for current road conditions.
