HOUSTON, TX - As the recovery from Tropical Depression Imelda begins, METRO riders will find nearly all of the agency's services restored. The Interstate 45-North Freeway HOV/ HOT lane will remain closed Friday due to damage and debris still blocking the lane. Although all other METRO services including METRORail, local and Park & Ride buses, and METROLift will resume, customers should expect detours on some routes and longer travel times. Some roads are still flooded.

METRO's four high water vehicles continue to assist the Houston Fire Department in emergency response efforts.

Service Note: 236 Maxey and 237 Baytown Park & Rides - Major delays/ detours expected due to barge accident.

For real-time service updates, customers are encouraged to subscribe to METRO's service alerts system and to follow our social media channels Twitter and Facebook.
