LIVE2LEAD - The Woodlands Announces Blanton, Cherry & Moore as Live Local Speakers

THE WOODLANDS, TX - The 5th annual Live2Lead-The Woodlands is excited to announce the local speakers for its upcoming event. Barry Blanton, Josh Cherry and Phillip Moore will be discussing “Essential Keys To Great Leadership.” The broadcasted conference features, John Maxwell, Marcus Buckingham, Angela Ahrendts, Rachel Hollis and Chris Hogan. Live2Lead-The Woodlands is hosted by Blanton Advisors, LLC and will take place at the Pavilion Event Center, The Woodlands, TX on Friday, October 25th at 8:00am with registration starting at 7:45am.

Barry Blanton – Owner and founder of Blanton Advisors, LLC, a CFO consulting practice based in The Woodlands, Texas. Blanton is a 2010 recipient of The Woodlands Hometown Hero award, 2017 recipient of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Award and recipient of the 2019 Leadership Montgomery County Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is actively involved with the Light the Night Walk The Woodlands, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Blanton serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Leadership Montgomery County and the Montgomery Central Appraisal District. He is a 1982 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and a 1987 graduate of Leadership Conroe. Blanton and his wife Fran reside in The Woodlands.

Josh Cherry - CEO & Co-founder, Delta Life Fitness CEO. Cherry is a 13-year Marine Corps Veteran with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. This three-combat tour Marine is originally from Southeast Texas and is currently the standing CEO of Delta Life Fitness Franchising located in the Woodlands, Texas. Currently, he is a VEL INSTITUTE board member, professional speaker and host of Texas Franchise Radio and is the recipient of a Fitness Business of the Year Award. Cherry earned a BA in Political Science; Texas A&M University, Commercial and private pilot’s license; United States Naval Air Station, Milton, Florida.

Phillip Moore – Executive Pastor, The Ark Church in Conroe, TX. Moore has served as Executive Pastor at The Ark Church since 2003. Prior to living in Texas, he resided in London, England serving as the Director for an international church leadership development program. Moore is a 2007 Graduate of the Leadership Montgomery County and former LMC Board of Directors member for eight years (one as Board Chair), Lone Star Family Health Center - Former Board Member and Rotary Club Lake Conroe - Past Member. Currently, he is the Chaplain for the Conroe Police Department, Maximizing Children’s Ministry International - Board Member. Moore is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in Business Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration. He and his wife, Dr. Ellen Moore, have two grown children and reside in Montgomery, TX.
