Fire Fighters Endorse Bob Milner for The Woodlands Township Position 7

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Longtime business leader Bob Milner has earned the endorsement of The Woodlands Professional Fire Fighters Association in The Woodlands Township Position 7 race.

Erik Secrest, president of The Woodlands Professional Fire Fighters Association, said fire fighters chose to endorse Mr. Milner after a review of his business and civic experience, his charitable activity, and his positions on the future of The Woodlands.

'We respect Bob Milner’s diverse professional history and his commitment to The Woodlands,' Secrest said. 'As a successful business leader, community servant, and fiscal conservative, we agree that Bob can and will serve on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors with honesty and integrity. He also has taken a strong interest in public safety issues important to The Woodlands, and many members of his extended family currently serve or have served their respective commun.es in law enforcement or fire service capacities.'

A 14-year resident of The Woodlands, Mr. Milner and his wife, Teresa, are the parents of four grown children and 2 grandchildren. Mr. Milner owns numerous successful businesses in Montgomery County and around the Country. Mr. Milner serves on many boards of various community and non-profit organizations. He recently was named by Interfaith of The Woodlands as a 'Hometown Hero' for his community service. He also currently serves as a mentor for entrepreneurship to local high school students.

Mr. Milner served 7 years as a decorated airman in the United States Air Force. He completed his undergraduate at Park College after previously attending Ole Miss and Memphis State University. He began his career in the energy industry and transitioned to the automotive industry. He completed his MBA and is now a professor of entrepreneurship. He is currently working towards his PhD.
