Education Standards Advisory Committee Accepting Applications for Members

AUSTIN, TX - The Texas Real Estate Commission is accepting applications for appointment for two real estate license holders members, one education member, and one public member position on the Education Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC) to serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2020. Real estate license holders applying must have 5 years licensure with an active license.

The Education Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC) reviews curriculum standards, course content requirements and instructor certification requirements for qualifying and continuing education courses, and makes recommendations to the Commission regarding these topics to ensure license holder education meets the highest educational standards. The committee is permitted to meet by teleconference, although it is anticipated that some travel to Austin will be necessary. Limited funds may be available for travel reimbursement. All committee meetings must comply with the Open Meetings Act.
