Woodforest Hosts Winter Wonderland Dec. 14

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Snow and good cheer are forecast for Woodforest Saturday, Dec. 14, during Winter Wonderland.

The event will take place 3-6 p.m. at The Church at Woodforest, 700 Fish Creek Thoroughfare. The event is open to the public with free tickets available online.

Heaps of snow and a slide to sled on will be the highlight of the festivities along with a flurry of activities that include bounce houses, face painting, caroling, blow-up games, crafts and more. Santa and Mrs. Claus are expected to stop by for holiday photos, plus families can pose in a giant snow globe.

“It’s the most wonderful time of year,” said Faith Pitman, Woodforest Marketing Director. “And what better way to celebrate than with snow, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies and a chance to get to know our community a little better.”

The event is being held in conjunction with Woodforest’s Winter Wonderland promotion. From now through Dec. 31, anyone who purchases a new home in the community will be entered into a drawing to receive a $1,000 gift card to Harvest Market so they can stock their new pantries. Five gift cards will be given away.

A Johnson Development community, Woodforest is located five miles north of The Woodlands and six miles south of Lake Conroe. Sixteen builders offer new homes priced from the $190,000s to the millions.
