MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - At about 2:00pm, the driver of the involved vehicle contacted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in reference to this incident. The 16-year-old male, accompanied by his mother, was positively identified as the driver of the black truck. The passenger of the truck was identified as a 12-year-old male. The male gave a statement regarding the incident which loosely corroborates the story of the 18-year-old female driving the golf cart. The stories were very similar, though the male stated he was irritated with the female’s driving and pulled beside her to express his irritation.
As stated in the original media advisory, at no time did either occupant of the truck leave the vehicle.

Information provided to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office does not indicate a criminal event has taken place in this incident. This appears to be a misunderstanding between the driver of the truck and the driver of the golf cart.

On Thursday December 26, 2019 at about 4:30pm, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 3200 block of Lake Island Drive in Montgomery regarding an incident that occurred at the Orbit Convenience/Gas store at 12800 Walden Drive. The 18 year old female complainant advised that she and her 12 year old sister drove to the gas station in a golf cart. She said that a black 4-door (possibly Chevrolet) car with a pink stripe followed her to the store. After arriving, the driver of the vehicle reportedly rolled down his window and stated 'Hey, ya'll get in'. The complainant said that she immediately left the gas station, and went to her grandparents’ house nearby. No further contact was had by the actor. The vehicle was said to be occupied by two white males, possibly late 20's-early 30's. Neither occupant of the vehicle actually exited the vehicle at any time.

If anyone has information about this incident, please contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800 and reference case #19A414174.
