Captured: Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Sought for Trafficking Arrested in Houston

HOUSTON, TX -- Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Willie James Brumfield, 20, was captured on Feb. 27, in Houston, Texas. Brumfield was wanted for trafficking of a child, compelling prostitution, aggravated robbery with a dangerous weapon and evading arrest or detention. The arrest was the result of several Crime Stoppers tips, and multiple rewards will be paid.

Working off information from the tips, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force — including Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Special Agents — located and arrested Brumfield near an apartment complex on the southwest side of Houston.
