CONROE, TX -- Lake Conroe UPDATE: SJRA continues to welcome visitors to Lake Conroe. During this time of increased isolation, the lake can provide a wonderful opportunity to get out of the house and spend time with family, but we want to be respectful of recent federal, state, and local COVID-19 guidelines and ensure the proper measures are in place to protect all citizens. While visiting Lake Conroe, please observe the following guidelines:

• Follow CDC recommendations on social distancing and limit groups to less than 10 people – whether on your boat or using public beach areas such as Ayers Island.
• Follow recommended hygiene practices when visiting any common spaces such as gas stations, marinas, or boat launches.
• Review Montgomery County emergency proclamations for information related to county parks, including the Lake Conroe Park off of SH 105.

Our highest priority is for the health and well-being of our visitors and employees. We continue to monitor public health recommendations and work with local government agencies to #FlattenTheCurve on the expansion of the COVID-19 virus. SJRA will continue to monitor these sources for future updates and may enact additional restrictions as necessary. Please continue to follow your local office of emergency management for the most up to date public health announcements. Stay safe and healthy.
