Residential fire in Spring Forest Subdivision

SPRING, TX -- Just before 5:30 South Montgomery County was notified of a residential fire on Arendale Street in the Spring Forest subdivision. Engine 11-2 and Battalion 11-1 arrived on scene within 5 minutes and found smoke coming from a large attached garage.

Eng 11-2 B-Shift crew quickly entered the garage though the thick smoke and located the source of the fire. The main body of fire was quickly extinguished. The quick decisive actions prevented the spread of fire to the main body of the house and saved additional property that was stored in garage.

Station 2 was assisted by South County Stations 1,4,6 and Woodlands station 3.
Porter and Needham fire Departments assisted with tanker trucks as this area has no fire hydrants.

No injuries were reported.
