MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can confirm multiple cases of COVID-19 are in residents of two nursing homes in Montgomery County, Park Manor of Conroe and Park Manor of The Woodlands. Both facilities are home to 21 of our 467 cases, including the man in his 80s whose death was confirmed earlier today.

After learning of the first positive case at Park Manor of Conroe, management of the facility proactively had every resident and staff member tested for COVID-19. The tests resulted in 17 positive results: 15 residents and 2 employees. One of those residents is hospitalized.

Regarding Park Manor of The Woodlands, 4 people have tested positive: 3 residents and 1 employee. One of those residents has passed away. The other two are in the hospital.

Both facilities are taking extra precautions based on CDC guidelines and are in regular communication with Montgomery County Public Health District in adherence with state and federal law. Park Manor facilities are managed by HMG Healthcare, LLC. For additional questions regarding this release, please contact Leticia Caballero at Leticia.caballero@healthmarkgroup.com.
