House Fire in Harmony Subdivision

SPRING, TX -- At 6:45 this evening multiple 911 calls began coming in reporting a house on fire in the Harmony Subdivision. E-11-6 arrived on scene within 3 minutes to find heavy smoke coming from a 3,000 sq ft residence. Within minutes station 4 arrived and was able to cut a hole in the roof to allow the smoke and heat to escape while Eng 11-6 entered the structure and was quickly able to locate the fire in the attic. The crews were also assisted by Stations 1 and 2 along with Spring Station 8 and Montgomery County Hospital District medic unit that provided EMS standby.

The quick skillful actions of all crews allowed the fire to be contained quickly to the attic preventing further loss to the structure or furnishings. There were no injuries reported on the scene.
