Assistant District Attorney Laura Bond: 'Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic, the ICAC team continues to do everything they can to keep our children safe. This team rescued children in abusive homes made vulnerable by the quarantine conditions. The team arrested registered sex offenders who had re-offended. They also arrested a number of suspects who were promoting images of child sexual abuse, and now we will hold these suspects accountable. In short, the devotion and commitment displayed by the ICAC Taskforce is highly commendable, and we should all be thankful for their work. They really are making a difference in keeping our children safe.'

District Attorney Brett Ligon: 'Those who prey on our children never take a day off, and neither do we. As long as there are criminals attempting to harm our children, we will be there to find them and bring them to justice. This is the mission of the ICAC team and this office, and we will pursue that mission pandemic or not.'
