Montgomery County COVID-19 Update for July 13, 2020

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Montgomery County Public Health District, in conjunction with Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, can regrettably confirm an additional death related to COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths to 42. A man in his 80s, from Conroe, died in the hospital. He had co-morbidities in addition to testing positive for COVID-19. We offer our condolences to his family.

We can also confirm the total number of COVID-19 cases increased by 105 to 3,112 cases in Montgomery County. ACTIVE cases of COVID-19 increased to 1,059. Of the 1,059 active cases who are Montgomery County residents, 41 are in the hospital. 2,011 people have fully recovered.

This week, take steps to slow the spread of COVID-19. Avoid groups of people. Wear a mask (if it is necessary to be in public), wash your hands or use hand sanitizer frequently, disinfect surfaces in your car and around your home, and practice social distancing.
