GALVESTON, TX -- Randall Keith MURRAY, 33, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Crips gang, was taken into custody on July 28, 2020, in Galveston, Texas.

Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested MURRAY in Galveston. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, Galveston Police Department, and Texas Attorney General’s Office also assisted in the capture of MURRAY.

In 2016, MURRAY was convicted in Galveston County of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He was subsequently sentenced to four years in TDCJ prison.

MURRAY was last released on parole from TDCJ in August 2019 and subsequently violated his parole approximately three months later.

In addition, on May 1, 2020, authorities in Galveston County issued a warrant for MURRAY’s arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
