The Woodlands Fire Department Respond to structure fire in River Plantation

CONROE, TX -- Just after 5 this morning The Woodlands Fire Department responded to 570 Brandon Road in the River Plantation subdivision on a reported structure fire. Conroe Engine 4 arrived first, reporting that the single family residence was heavily involved in fire with some structural collapse occurring. Firefighters declared the fire defensive and fought the fire from outside the structure. Crews from Conroe, The Woodlands Fire Department and Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4 assisted New Caney Fire Department with extinguishment. MCHD and MCSO also assisted. The structure, believed to be vacant, was a total loss. Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
