THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Hurricane Laura continues to look like a TX/LA border landfall overnight. The size of the storm is expected to bring 40-70 MPH winds to our area with several inches of rain. Just east of our area can expect 50-90 MPH winds and more rain. Closer to the eye wall 90-125 MPH, significantly more rain and storm surge of several feet up to 14' coming inland as far as 30 miles.

Pray for those closer to landfall as this will be an intensifying storm with life threatening conditions wherever it comes ashore.

Avoid driving through flooded roadways and be on the lookout for fallen trees.

We are expecting power outages east of our area but may have some local outages as well.
