Fire at Dosey Doe Breakfast & BBQ on Research Forest Drive

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 9:30pm The Woodlands Fire Department was called to 2626 Research Forest for a fire at the Dosey Doe Breakfast & BBQ restaurant. Engine 101 arrived first and reported a fire in the rear of the structure. An aggressive fire attack allowed firefighters to get a quick knock down and confine the fire damage to the smokehouse attached to the rear of the building. There was minimal smoke damage to the main part of the restaurant. Restaurant staff did a great job in evacuating all of the customers prior to The Woodlands Fire Department arrival and there were no reported injuries. We were assisted by MCHD and MCSO. Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
