The Woodlands Township Launches First Rocket League e-Sports Tournament

THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the kickoff of its first eSports tournament. eSports is an organized, multiplayer video game competition, and those brand new to eSports and experienced gamers alike will find a spot in The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation’s brand new 2V2 Rocket League tournament series. Every month there will be chances to compete against like gamers of ALL ages from surrounding areas.

Competition begins at 2 p.m. September 19, 2020, and registration is open now. There is a $10 fee per participant, ($20 per team). Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place finishers in each division.

Saturday, September 19 at 2 p.m. CDT
Saturday, October 17 at 2 p.m. CDT
Saturday, November 14 at 2 p.m. CDT
Saturday, December 19 at 2 p.m. CDT
