MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The forecast track has Beta making landfall within the next couple of hours around Matagorda Bay. Then moving east along the Texas Gulf Coast back out to see before making a second landfall in Louisiana on Thursday.
The rain accumulation forecast have changed as a result of the storm weakening and changing course. While we’re still under a flash flood watch until 7 am on Wednesday we are not expecting more than 5 inches over the course of the next few days.
While the good news is a lower chance of flooding in Montgomery County please stay vigilant for the next few days.
