MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- In 2007, Congress designated September 25th as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims. On September 25, 2020, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office hosted a ceremony to commemorate those lost to senseless murders this year, and try to help the seven families of those victims to find peace. The families were invited to a private event, surrounded by their loved ones and members of the Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney's Office that helped solve every one of these cases and give the family a small semblance of reconciliation knowing that the perpetrators have all been identified and captured, facing justice for their wrongdoings.
