THE WOODLANDS, TX - The master-planned community of Woodforest continues to expand, opening new neighborhoods and introducing a new builder.

Taylor Morrison, which had previously been selling only in the 55-plus community of Bonterra at Woodforest, will soon begin presales in Christine Manor, a new, intimate neighborhood of 23 65-foot homesites. Taylor Morrison will offer five home designs in Christine Manor — which is adjacent to the 32-acre Christine Allen Nature Park — with pricing from the $370,000s.

“Taylor Morrison is a prolific builder with a wide portfolio of home designs,” said Virgil Yoakum, Vice President and General Manager of Woodforest. “We’re excited to see their larger floor plans in Christine Manor and expect their signature quality to continue to attract home buyers.”

The floor plans range from 2,493 to 3,403 square feet and offer up to six bedrooms, five full baths and four-bay garages. A model home is underway.

David Weekley Homes — new to Woodforest — is bringing two series of floor plans to the new enclave of Kinglsey Square. Home designs for 50-foot properties range from 1,912 to 3,050 square feet. David Weekley also will offer a collection of alley-loaded floor plans for 42-foot homesites.

“This is the first time we’ve offered homes with rear garages in Woodforest,” Yoakum said. “This will give the neighborhood a unique streetscape that puts the focus on the homes and front yards rather than driveways.”

The builder has yet to release pricing. Model homes are expected to open mid-year 2021.

Gracepoint Homes is moving into another Woodforest neighborhood, Sanderling. Floor plans will be for 70-foot homesites; pricing has not been announced. A model home should open in the spring.

Most recently, Chesmar Homes opened a new model home for its Villa townhome designs in Woodforest. The homes range from 1,600 to 1,900 square feet and are priced from the $200,000s.

“We are well positioned for the start of 2021 to meet expected buyer demand in Woodforest,” Yoakum said. “Builders have sold hundreds of homes in Woodforest this year, and with interest rates still so low, we expect that trend to continue.”

Thirteen builders offer homes priced from the $200,000s to the millions in Woodforest, located five miles north of The Woodlands.
