The Woodlands Ice Rink offers holiday hours, ice skating lessons

THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center will be open for special holiday hours as schools let out for the holiday break. Additionally, The Ice Rink will offer private and group ice skating lessons for those looking to get more comfortable on the ice.

The Ice Rink will be open on school holidays, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (open until 11 p.m. on Fridays), Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Christmas Day from 2 to 8 p.m., New Year’s Eve from noon to 1 a.m., and New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. School holidays are based on the Conroe ISD calendar. The 2020-2021 ice-skating season concludes Monday, January 18, 2021.

“Introduction to Skating” group lessons are available for all ages and will take place Sundays from 8 to 9 a.m. with a maximum of 15 people per instructor. Group lessons are $20 per person and do not include skate rental or admission fees. Private skating lessons are also offered in 30 or 45-minute sessions. The cost for a 30-minute lesson is $30 and $45 for a 45-minute lesson (skate rental and admission fees not included).

The Ice Rink is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77380. Featuring ice skating in a main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, and concessions, The Ice Rink is available for parties, corporate gatherings and other events. Admission varies by day, ranging from $12.50 to $17.50 for skate admission with observer-only fees ranging from free to $2. Table rentals are $12.50 and seat up to eight guests. All inside seating is by reservation only and can be booked online.

Please note, Ice Rink operations have been modified to accommodate more stringent cleaning procedures, provide social distancing for guests in accordance with CDC guidelines and comply with local orders regarding building capacity. All visitors will be screened prior to entry and temperature checked. Please wear a face covering when entering the building.

Ice Rink guests should practice social distancing, refrain from gathering in large groups and continue following all guidelines established by the CDC when in public spaces and around others outside of your household. Please note all Township events and programs are subject to cancellation pending local, state and federal Orders or Declarations.
