Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Investigates Homicide in Magnolia

MAGNOLIA, TX - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a homicide that occurred in Magnolia.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, n January 25th, around 7:40am, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call in reference to a shooting in the 26500 Block of South Carrol Circle in Magnolia. Upon arrival, deputies noticed a white male lying on the ground with a gun shot wound to the upper chest and was deceased.

Authorities learned that the suspect was reported to be damaging a vehicle when the homeowner came out of their home and confronted the suspect. The resident, who feared for their safety, fired a single shot, striking the male in the upper torso. After the shooting, the homeowner immediately called 911.

Authorities are currently on scene and the incident is actively being investigated.
