Inspiration Ranch Receives Market Street’s Change for Charity Gift

MAGNOLIA, TX - As Inspiration Ranch steps into 2021 and prepares for program growth, Market Street awards the Ranch its 2020 fourth quarter Change for Charity gift.

“This gift could not come at a better time,” says Inspiration Ranch President and CEO, MG Tindall, “We have plans for significant growth this year, and Market Street has helped us launch those plans with their donation.”

At the Ranch’s January 23rd Board Planning Retreat, Market Street General Manager, Jenny Taylor, presented Inspiration Ranch’s Board with a check for $11,264.26. Because the early portion of the year is traditionally a time when fewer donations come in, this meant that the Board was able to begin planning with fundraising toward growth already on track.

“We were excited to be able to support Inspiration Ranch and its work toward serving more special needs clients and trauma victims,” said Taylor, “their work builds up our community, and it meant a lot to support that.”

A portion of funds that are collected from Market Street’s parking meters is donated to one of four local nonprofit organizations each year. Cars and Coffee for a Cause, hosted at Market Street the first Sunday of each month, partners with the Change for Charity program and contributes to the quarterly donations as well.

Inspiration Ranch will use its Change for Charity gift to help drive growth for both its Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding and Equine-Assisted Mental Health programs. The therapeutic riding program will expand to serve 125 special needs clients before the end of 2021, and the mental health program will add a therapist and horses so that it can serve more trauma victims.
