THE WOODLANDS, TX - If you're a fan of the colder weather, you're in for a treat this weekend into next week.

The temperature tumble begins tomorrow, as highs reach the upper 60s with a slight chance of rain. Ran chances elevate into Thursday with a high temperature in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s. We'll see cooler but pleasant weather for both Thursday and Friday, with highs in the the low 50s and mid 40s, respectively. Saturday's low will dip into the upper 20s.

The high on Sunday will struggle to reach 40° under cloudy skies with low temperatures in the mid 20s. Our wintery mix is forecasted for Monday, when the high will make it to around 34°. Monday's low will be the same as the day before, in the mid 20s.

Next Tuesday through Thursday, highs will vary from the mid 40s to upper 50s, with a mix of clouds and sun, and lows fluctuating from the low 30s to upper 40s.

During this cold snap, it is important to protect your sensitive outdoor vegetation, pets and pipes. Make sure your pipes are insulated to prevent them from bursting, cover your sensitive plants and bring in your pets.
