THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On Go Texan Day, 2nd graders at The Woodlands Christian Academy were treated to a special presentation from Wildlife on Wheels. Presented by the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this program is designed to introduce young learners to the basics of animal life. 'In order to keep our school community safe and remain open, we are limited in what we can do,' said Lower School Principal, Patty Bruha. 'So in lieu of an off-campus field trip, we invited Wildlife on Wheels to visit school which gave these students a fun opportunity to stay engaged in learning beyond the walls of their classroom.'

Wildlife on Wheels offers different themes ranging from aquatic sea creatures to exotic animals. The theme for this presentation was Texas Wildlife. Through fun games and activities, and up-close interactions with live animals, TWCA students learned about and experienced a variety of wildlife found throughout the state.

Serving students in Pre-K-12th grade, The Woodlands Christian Academy is an independent, Christ-centered college preparatory school that integrates learning with Biblical faith and spiritual growth, and challenges students to reach their highest potential – intellectually, creatively, physically and socially – for the glory of Jesus Christ. The school is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.
