Investigators Are Urging Other Victims to Come Forward

HARRIS COUNTY, TX -- Investigators with the Adult Special Crimes unit are hoping to have other victims of a man currently in jail for sexual assault come forward and meet with investigators and counselors.

45-year-old Stanley Cosey (06/22/76) is currently charged with 3 counts of sexual assault.

The last complainant, a 25-year-old -female met the defendant on social media dating site.
The two agreed to meet at a location in northwest Harris County.

While on the date the male became very aggressive towards the complainant, and she tried to leave the room several times.

Cosey overpowered the victim and began to sexually assault the victim.

The woman attempted to flee again, at one point ran out on to the balcony of the room to try to escape.

He then grabbed her, and while she was struggling to break free, he attempted to throw her off the balcony.

Cosey then dragged her back into the room, and choked her until she passed out.

Investigators and trauma counselors are ready to help any victims that are afraid to come forward.
