The Woodlands Fire Department respond to structure fire in Alden Bridge

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 4pm The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire on E. Russets Grove Circle in Alden Bridge. The first unit on scene reported a fire in the laundry room extending into the attic. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze limiting fire damage to the laundry room and the attic area immediately above it. There were no reported injuries but one resident will be displaced. The fire cause was determined to be accidental caused by a lightning strike. The Woodlands Fire Department was assisted by Needham Fire & Rescue/ Montgomery County ESD#4 and Conroe Fire Department along with Montgomery County Hospital District.
