Constable's Anti-Crime Initiative Nabs Suspect Who Stole A 2020 Ford F250 From The Fred Hass Nissan

TOMBALL, TX -- On May 20, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to Fred Haas Nissan in the 24200 block of Tomball Parkway in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, staff reported that a male suspect stole a 2020 Ford F250 valued over $80,000.00 from their lot.

Upon an extensive investigation, deputies were able to locate the stolen vehicle posted for sale and set up a buy for the vehicle. The stolen vehicle was recovered during the operation and the suspect selling it was detained and identified as Axcel Shamir Cruz.

'Axcel Shamir Cruz was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 263rd District Court.' - Constable Mark Herman
