The Woodlands FireFighters Endorse Dr. Ann K. Snyder, Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs and Bob Milner in The Woodlands Township Races

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Incumbent community leaders Dr. Ann K. Snyder, Dr. Shelley Sekula-Gibbs and Bob Milner have earned the endorsements of The Woodlands Professional Fire Fighters Association in The Woodlands Township board of directors races.

Erik Seems, president of The Woodlands Professional Fire Fighters Association, said fire fighters chose to endorse the three incumbent directors for re-election after a review of their records on public service and public safety in The Woodlands and working with them in recent years.

''We respect the commitments of Dr. Snyder, Dr. Sckula-Gibbs and Mr. Milner to public safety,'' Secrest said. ''As we have strived to build on our fire department's strengths and extremely high standards of public service delivery, all of three of these incumbents have supported those efforts at every step along the way. For these reasons and others, they have earned re-election in our view. Many Woodlands residents appreciate their service to the community as well as their other accomplishments, awards and charitable initiatives. Supporting them was an easy decision for firefighters in The Woodlands.”

The Woodlands Township is governed by a seven-member board of directors. Directors are elected by the community at large to serve two-year staggered terms on a volunteer basis. Dr. Snyder is the incumbent in Position 6. Dr. Sekula-Gibbs is the incumbent in Position 5. Mr. Milner is the incumbent in Position 7.
