Crime of the Week 08-06-2021 - Multi-County Crime Stoppers and Conroe Police Seek the Public’s Help to Solve the Murder of Diedrik Ivan Cavil

CONROE, TX -- Multi County Crime Stoppers is working with the Conroe Police Department in the investigation of a homicide that occurred on July 26, 2021. On Monday, July 26th, Conroe Police Officers responded to a report of a male laying in a ditch in the 600 block of South 10th Street. Officers discovered the body of 59 year-old Diedrik Ivan Cavil, of Conroe, Texas. Cavil was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.

Detectives with Conroe PD have launched an investigation and believe there may be witnesses that can assist with helping solve this crime, and help bring closure to the friends and family of Mr. Cavil.
