THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Every evening from October 1 through October 31, Market Street will be shining bright with pink lights as it teams up with Houston Methodist Cancer Center at The Woodlands in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Guests to Market Street will enjoy the “Light It Up Pink” Breast Cancer Awareness display throughout Central Park and at several nearby buildings.

Shoppers on rainy days during the month will be able to borrow a special pink umbrella as they browse between retailers or visit one of Market Street’s signature restaurants.

Pink hand sanitizers will be available in Central Park, and signage throughout the property will display Breast Cancer Awareness Month facts reminding women why it is important to get an annual screening mammogram.

“This October, we are aligning with Houston Methodist Cancer Center at The Woodlands to remind women in our community of the importance of getting screened regularly for breast cancer,” said Market Street Marketing Director, Noemi Gonzalez. “Market Street is joining in the fight against this disease, and in support of the women who are battling it.”

To schedule a mammogram, ultrasound or bone density test at Houston Methodist Breast Care Center at The Woodlands, visit houstonmethodist.org/appointments or call 936.270.3600.
