Children’s programs

Outdoor Family Story Time
Wednesdays, November 3, 10, 17 @ 10:00 am
Join us outside for an in-person Family Story Time, led by some of your favorite Children's librarians! Meet in the grassy area in front of the LSC-Tomball Community Library for books, songs, finger plays, and a take home craft kit. Please come prepared for the weather with blankets or chairs to sit on and water! This story time is for all ages but will be of most interest to kids 5 and under. This program will be cancelled if there is inclement weather.

Virtual Alphabet Express
Thursdays, November 4 @ 10:00 am
All Aboard the ALPHABET EXPRESS! Join us on the LSC-Tomball Community Library Facebook page as we journey through the alphabet at this Early Literacy Program! Each session focuses on 1 letter of the alphabet and includes songs, fingerplays, activities and printable resources. This virtual program is geared towards kids ages 3-5.

Tomball Anime Club

Love Anime, Manga, and all things Japanese? Come join our Young Adult Anime Club.
We explore a new topic every month including Japanese culture, how to cosplay, how to draw anime and anime related crafts.

Career Roadmaps

Curious about what to do after high school? Wondering if traditional college might not be for you? Join us for some information on alternative career paths. Various careers are explored and individuals throughout the community are interviewed to learn more about how they got to the career that they are in and explore the (sometimes winding) path that takes them to their current careers.

Files & Folders
3rd Tuesday, November 16 @ 2pm
Files and Folders will help you understand the Windows interface, and the tools available to help you organize your documents, pictures, and music. We’ll also discuss extra file storage and file sizes.
