Vehicle Fire at Sam's Club parking lot

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just before 9:30pm The Woodlands Fire Department received multiple 911 calls reporting a vehicle fire in the Sam's Club parking lot at 19091 S I-45. Fire Truck 101 arrived first and found an ambulance heavily involved in fire. Shenandoah Police Department on scene reported that there was no one in the ambulance. Firefighters from Truck 101 and Engine 102 were able to bring the fire under control in under 10 minutes. The ambulance, from the private company Medical Jets Emergency Response Team was not carrying a patient and the crew was not injured. Fire cause was appears to be a mechanical malfunction.
