THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Conroe Independent School District and Magnolia Independent School District have both just announced they will be closed tomorrow.
Winter storm may bring more closures
Conroe ISD stated in an announcement,' Due to the forecast inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, all after-school activities in Conroe ISD are canceled for Thursday, February 3. Conroe ISD will also be closed on Friday, February 4. This missed day will not be made up due to the extra minutes built into the calendar. Should road conditions improve mid-day Friday, some extracurricular activities may resume. Stay safe and warm!'
Magnolia ISD put out its own announcement on Facebook and its website: 'Magnolia ISD will be closed on Friday, February 4 due to the winter weather expected. Please contact your school sponsor or campus administrator for any Friday afternoon or evening activities scheduled.'
