The Woodlands Arts Council presents Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival this April

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Enjoy an outdoor jury-selected fine arts show featuring more than 200 local, national, and international artists selling their original art in a variety of mediums. Enjoying its 17th year, the Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, presented by The Woodlands Arts Council, also features art activities for all ages, live music, entertainment, and food and beverages throughout the weekend. This festival is ranked among the top fine arts festivals in the country and winner of “Best Event in The Woodlands” 10 years in a row.

All festival proceeds go towards art educational outreach programs


The festival will run Saturday, April 9, from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, April 10, from 10 am to 6 pm along The Woodlands Waterway and in Town Green Park (2099 Lake Robbins Dr.). VIPs and guests over age 60 will have early access from 9 am – 10 am. Additionally, there will be the Art Dash Party -- presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy -- on Friday, April 8, 6-10 pm at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Dr.

This year’s featured artist is Giulloume, a native of Medellin, Columbia who maintains his studio in Sandia Park, NM. Guilloume is a master of “Bolismo”, an emotional style using simple forms, textures, and movements to exhibit human feelings from the most complex to the simplest. His minimalist style is expressed primarily in oil paintings and bronze scultpures, from tabletop-sized to massive.

Passes are available for purchase online only. Weekend passes are $20 adult / $15 student each; one-day passes are $15 adult / $10 student; VIP weekend passes are $200; children 12 & under are admitted free. VIPs and guests over age 60 will have early access to the festival from 9-10am. Art Dash Party tickets are $150 each and extra 60-Second Art Dash tickets are $250 each.
