THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Lone Star College Foundation will hold its annual StarGala event Saturday, April 9, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. StarGala raises funds to support student scholarships and college programs at Lone Star College.

“Supporting Lone Star College Foundation is a passion for us,” said Consuella and James Harrison, StarGala Chairs. “It allows us to partner with the students, remove barriers in the pursuit of their college education and help them reach their full potential.” James Harrison also serves as LSC Foundation Board of Directors Secretary.

The annual event will feature an elegant evening of dinner, dancing, cocktails, entertainment, live and silent auctions, and more. The guest list of more than 500 attendees is comprised of c-suite executives, community leaders, established philanthropists and LSC leadership.

“My experiences at Lone Star College have been fantastic,” said Angelina Gamez, LSC student and LSC Foundation scholarship recipient. “Lone Star College offers so many accessible programs, tutors, services, professors and financial relief.”

“This year’s event is supported by many generous sponsors and underwriters, including Visionary sponsors Barnes & Noble College and Entergy Texas, Inc.; Champion sponsors Dianne & Seth Sharr; and Dream Maker sponsors PBK Architects, Inc.”

“I am looking forward to being able to spend an evening with LSC Foundation supporters,” said Stephen C. Head, Ph.D., LSC Chancellor. “It is a wonderful opportunity to get together and encourage student success.”
