Montgomery County Veterans Commission Stands with Ukraine

CONROE, TX -- The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission supports the people of Ukraine against the tyranny of Russia. On Friday, March 11 at 11:00am the Commission invites the community to join forces against evil with Montgomery County leaders and local Ukrainian people to show unyielding support for Ukraine at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park.

Public invited to Remember the Ukraine


All are invited to attend the event to “Remember the Ukraine”.

Chairman, Judge Jimmie C Edwards, III, retired USMC urged the community to attend the event.
“The Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission urgently wishes to express our undying support of the people of Ukraine. We have assembled the leaders of Montgomery County to demonstrate to the rest of the nation our unyielding support of the Ukrainian people. We will have a large contingency of supporters from Montgomery County as well as Houston in attendance.”
In attendance will be members of the Ukrainian community in Houston and the sixteen-year-old student, Anya Arseienko, an exchange student attending Lake Creek High School from the Ukraine.

Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Commission is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, illuminating, and enriching our youth, families, and communities from this state and this nation to the services, experiences and sacrifices of our United States Veterans and First Responders.
