THE WOODLANDS, TX – Quote of the week: “Beware the Ides of March.” – William Shakespeare

Sure, it’s Spring Break, but we already have another article about special SB events; this week’s Top 5 features some special mid-March (including St. Patrick’s Day) events. As we start off our first full week on an hour’s less sleep thanks to Daylight Saving Time kicking in early Sunday morning, we might need some extra pick-me-up to keep smiling. Luckily, Woodlands Online has a line on some fun events to brighten your week!

Wednesday, March 16
The Woodlands Township is all about community, and what better way to celebrate that than to have a chance to meet those who have sworn to serve and protect us? So head on out to the Starbucks at 3000 Research Forest for their Coffee With a Cop event from 7:30-9:30am. Take the opportunity to have a cuppa and some convo with local law enforcement officers; remember, it’s always awesome to support people who run into situations that the rest of us run away from!

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is hosting a day full of Irish reel. So you and the family get dressed in your best green shamrocks and enjoy the Irish step-dancing of the McTeggart Irish Dance performers at 10:30am and 11:30am.
