THE WOODLANDS, TX – In a curious sense of deja vu, it seems as if we’ll have a weekend and next week filled with sunny skies and pleasant weather, marred by a day or two midweek of thunderstorms. This seems to be a pattern of the past several weeks; however, there may be something to be said for consistency.

Looks like a couple of days a rain is the new weekly event of 2022

Today will see bright, cloudless skies and a high of 80, with temps plunging down into the 50s for a low tonight. Tomorrow for most of the daylight hours we will experience higher temperatures and cloudier skies, with a slight chance of drizzle. But clouds and temps will both minimize come nightfall and we’ll enjoy another dry night in the 50s.

Sunday will see another sunny day with a high in the mid 80s and a low in the 60s, perfect weather day and night for outdoor fun. However, late at night coming into Monday morning, the clouds will roll in and the thunderstorms will play their symphony. For all day and night Monday through Tuesday morning, we’ll have to handle the hassle of thunderstorms and rains; not enough to cause flooding but constant nonetheless. Tuesday afternoon the sun should peek out from behind the departing clouds as a high pressure system rolls in.

Wednesday might feel a little steamy as we return to mostly sunny skies with a high in the upper 80s. But a slight cold front should make an appearance that evening, dipping lows into the 50s. Thursday and Friday will be a tad brisker, with temps back into the 70s for the highs and 40s for the lows, with some clouds but little chance of precipitation.

Stay tuned for weather updates from Woodlands Online.
