What The Woodlands offers this weekend for celebrants of Easter and Passover

THE WOODLANDS, TX –The Woodlands has Easter and Passover celebrations abounding throughout the area. Here is a sampling of ways you can celebrate.

The Woodlands Township Egg Scramble
Come out to Rob Fleming Park at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive on Friday AND Saturday for an opportunity for your little egg-splorers to hunt for eggs. Each egg hunt will include a small craft and refreshments followed by the egg hunt on the field including a special visit from the bunny. Remember your basket and camera! The fee is $15 for residents and $20 for non-residents (per child); $5 sibling discount.

To Dye For Egg Decorating – Open for All Ages
This Good Friday, at 10 in the morning, set aside time to decorate and dye eggs at the Rob Fleming Recreation Center, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive. All eggs, dye and decorations will be provided. Enjoy an egg hunt and visit from the Bunny. Bring your basket and a camera! Fee: $20 Resident; $25 Non-Resident (per child); $5 sibling discount.

EggTivities at The Woodlands Children’s Museum
On Friday and Saturday, children will delight in egg dyeing, creating a bunny mask, and embellishing egg carton baskets or a bunny box to carry eggs. Photos with the Easter Bunny 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm. Discovery Toys 4/15, 10am-2pm. Usborne Books & more 4/15, 10am-1pm and 4/16 10am-4pm. Friday and Saturday are your last two chances to have a happy Easter with exciting photo experiences you can enjoy with the whole family. Don’t miss out on capturing some very hoppy moments with your little ones and The Bunny. Even if you have a fur family get egg-cited for our pet photo nights so plan your visit and bring your paw-fect pets. Also, on Saturday The Woodlands Mall will be hosting a free, family-friendly, Easter event in the courtyard from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Join in for an EGG-cellent time filled with games, crafts, entertainment and more from your favorite stores.

Free Easter Egg Hunt at The Woodlands Family YMCA at Holcomb / Easter Party at Shadowbend YMCA
On Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, come out to the area's newest – and wall-less – YMCA at 5201 Imperial Promenade Drive in Spring for a day of egg hunting, games, and prizes. This event is courtesy of a partnership with Declaration Church. This is a free event for the entire family. From there, head on over to the Easter Themed Party at the Shadowbend YMCA, 6145 Shadowbend Place in The Woodlands. Goes from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Activities include an Easter egg hunt, movie, games, crafts, and snacks. Entrance for this party is $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional child.

Passover Family Seder Experience
On Saturday starting at 5:00 pm, Shaarey Tzedek, a Conservative Jewish Synagogue, will be having a Passover Family Seder Experience. They will have a kosher Passover dinner; Rabbi Deborah Schloss will lead the Haggadah reading and Cantorial Student Neal Taibel will lead attendees with Passover songs to sing along.
