WOODLANDS WEATHER ALERT – Severe storms expected tonight

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Woodlands area and Montgomery County residents should brace for severe thunderstorms starting later this afternoon or early this evening. An inch or so of rain is expected to accompany the thunder and lighting, which should move on shortly after midnight.

As of this moment, the National Weather Service has not issued any official watches or warnings; however, residents should be on high alert for strong winds and issues that go with them, such as falling trees or branches, hazardous road conditions, and power outages.
