THE WOODLANDS, TX – This past week it seemed as if Woodlands weather couldn’t make up its mind; rain and thunder forecasts changes on practically an hourly basis, and the precipitation onslaught we warned about last week sort of fizzled out to some rumbling and wet roads.

A pleasant lull between spring showers and summer heat

This weekend, however, we’re confident that the forecast over the next few days will stay on target.

Today we’ll continue with the partly cloudy skies as the temps creep back into the mid 90s for a high. The increasing temperatures, clouds, and winds will all start dying down later this evening as we enjoy a low around 66 degrees; if you can get away with it, we suggest opening up some windows for some natural circulation.

Saturday will see a drop in cloud cover and an uptick in temps and winds. It’ll be slightly warmer with a high of 95 and winds coming in from the south at around 7mph, with no chance of rain marring the sunny sky. Overnight between Saturday and Sunday will be some cloud cover to lock in the temps in the lower 70s.

On Sunday, most of the clouds will get blown away by a steadily increasing wind system double that of the day before. The partly cloudy skies will see a high temp in the mid 90s and another low in the 70s. Look for more of the same – with a return of the winds – on Monday.
